Really hard to find a place as a family (Scotland has a reservation mania right now . The place is great, everything is very nice. On Fridays our children ate for FREE!!! I had the fish and chips with peas carrots and tartare sauce. I have to say it's the best fish I have had in a long time, it was wonderful. The chips were just right, crispy on the outside and soft in the middle will be back. Price per person: £1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3
Very clean pub probably the cleanest I have ever visited! The food was good and the staff were kind and helpful. I was visiting Arbroath from America and they seemed genuinely interested and even helped me to charge my phone . Many thanks to them and highly recommend.

Had a lovely lunch here with my family. Perfectly cooked home cooking with extensive menu. All very reasonably priced and good portions. Very much a locals place and very pet friendly! We'll be back!
