My wife surprised me with a celebration at The Pheasant Inn on Saturday, November 12th. The party had about 85 people and took place in the function room that Saturday night. We had exclusive use of the space, and The Pheasant Inn provided a buffet for all attendees. There was also a private band (Old’s Cool) that entertained us while we enjoyed the delicious food. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service. We had a great meal at The Pheasant Inn the week before, so we were already impressed with the restaurant. Food was very well prepared and presented and good value too. I would definitely go there again and I enquired about the Christmas menu to return next month. Small criticism over the service as two of the three drinks ordered not correct and taking orders was a slow. But this was possibly down to being a busy Sunday and the background noise of a packed pub. I certainly wouldn't let this put me off with good food averaging around 11 quid a meal.
