I first saw this beautiful word used on the grave-stone of a very dear friend whose occupation was 'Agricultural Contractor '. ... However, today we visited The Plough for a bite to eat, yet again, as promised, and its menu read: simple good food, but with great promise, just like the last time reported. three of us had a lovely high tea plus a round of drinks, lovely toast to start, then three plentiful mains freshly prepared followed by a big pot of tea and fresh cakes and scones, two hours later and we're still full, the Plough has free onstreet parking right on it's doorstep and has 1 step in and 1 step in the lounge so access is good to most people, staff were very attentive polite and courteous, all in all a lovely meal, third time my wife has visited the Plough in two weeks and three great meals, long may it continue, well done.

Myself and my son visited here for our tea. We were greeted by all staff on shift and the service we received you could not fault. We were made to feel welcome and all our needs were met with a friendly smiling face. The food was outstanding and you could taste it was freshly made to order. Cannot wait to visit again and sample other items on your menu along with the wide range of drinks. Thank you for a pleasant experience and keep up the good work from a very satisfied mother and son
