We were in the area for the British Grand Prix. Our accommodation did not provide food so I looked around and liked the look and reviews of The Plough Inn at Marsh Gibbon. After a long day all four of us were in need of refreshment. There is a separate dining area which suited us well after our long day. With a good choice of menu and this being our main pit stop we needed refuelling. We were not disappointed having all chosen comfort food. The chef cooks ham and gammon with coke and the result is delicious. We were well served and looked after, the beer was good too. I would have no hesitation in going back nor in recommending this fine hostelry.
Friendly staff, great local crowd always welcoming , lots of live music , pub games , free choice in music which is a bonus and there is a chill out bar area with open fire so if you wish to read a book or engage in conversation everyone needs are provided for . Beer is fantastic what more can you ask for
I only had a great dinner in the plough inn. when someone who moved to the village yesterday, I felt so welcome at an evening there. they were all very nice and helpful, told me where the dinge were and brought me to some people. Great place, would recommend it definately for local and for traveling!
This is our local and we love it, great service and well run with a selection of drinks, beers, rum, whisky etc. Food is excellent and the managers often have entertainment lined up, live bands/ DJ etc. A lovely large garden out the back with a children's play area. Highly recommended.

Ben has created a lovely menu and is always keen for feedback which he takes generously. Great service, and you just know that everyone is giving their best. We had a wonderful meal and then stayed on for some awesome live music. A super evening throughout. Many thanks.
It was our first time to visit The Plough it was on Christmas Day for Dinner,what a surprise,it was a home cooked meal and there was nothing to complain about.The service and attention from the staff was excellent.we will be back.xx
guinness is good. the customer service is excellent, I have used the plough for over 25 years and hope that I can use the pub for more 25 years.
