The food was good but the service let it down. Had to wait a long time to be greater at door even though staff walked past. Then again a long wait for drinks and for order to be taken. Main order was taken incorrectly. Half of main food came before the other half and then alone was incorrect. It wasn’t busy in the dining room either.
We ate in the sun room which is lovely! But the noise was overwhelming! As there were two large party’s As we are seniors are hearing is not quite as good as the youngsters so found it hard having chit chat between us ! Did ask when we arrived if there was a table in the other part of pub ! But no joy as they were all taken !
My wife and I dine at the Plume of Feathers regularly . We have yet to be disappointed . The food is always excellent as is the service and staff . Domi is a real asset to your company and I think without her the foundations will start to crumble ! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK DOMI !
