Having visited this restaurant multiple times, I have always enjoyed great food and exceptional customer service. It is definitely one of the best places in Shields for good service. A couple of weeks ago, we had a small issue with our takeaway order, but Ali quickly resolved it for us without any trouble. I highly recommend this restaurant as all the staff are very friendly, respectful, and have excellent manners.

Visited this restaurant this evening meal was fabulous. Very relaxed atmosphere, staff very friendly. Excellent service safety measures in place eg seating arrangements, new bottles of hand gel placed on our table when we arrived and staff cleaned door handles etc regularly. We will definitely return to this restaurant
We have used this restaurant as a take away for so many years now and I still believe it 's the best. The only negative regarding the food is the amount of prawns in my king prawn madras. Six prawns isn 't enough in such a tasty meal. Also I wish they delivered. Other than that 'The Raj ' still stays my favourite! Book a table now
