Dined here on the 26th November. The customer service was excellent. I was very impressed with all the components of the menu that we sampled. The chicken and corn chowder was an enjoyable start to the night as was the bruschetta with caramelised onion and goats cheese. There were many appealing options on the menu but the chicken scaloppini was to die for, beautifully presented and extremely tasty. The portions were generous. The cakes on display were very temping at the beginning of the night but sampling them will have to wait for another time. This was my third visit to The Reserve. I have always been impressed by Harry's friendliness and willingness to go above and beyond. The coffee I had was the best I'd had in weeks, beautifully strong and silky milk. I ordered the BLAT, which is good but needed to have aioli added to give it that something special. I recommend that the dish should come with aioli included to be a standout. The Moroccan lamb pasty was a little dry but had a good flavor. I will keep going to the Reserve due to its great location, fantastic service and tasty food.
Four of us went along for dinner. This is popular lunch time spot and they are trying out a few nights with dinner. The place is small, but clean and friendly, the owner doing the waiting. The menu is basically Italian, with a small but quite adequate choice. Unfortunately my parmagiana was very tough and chewy and full of sinew. My companions however, all had other dishes and were very happy. The house wine was quite drinkable.
The Reserve is a great cafe to grab a take away coffee or sit and have breakfast. The Moroccan eggs are great and there is always a good selection of food to choose from for lunch. The service is excellent and there is a great little court yard out the back to sit and relax with some friends. The freshly made biscuits, especially the yoyo's, are great with coffee.

I went to the Reserve on a recommendation from a friend, I found that the cafe had changed owners but it was still a nice small cafe to eat at. The food was great, great prices to go with it.I have since been there a few time as it is only open 2 nights a week for dinner, but open Mon to Friday for breakfast and lunch.I do recommend this cafe.... enjoy.
I would give this place 4 stars just for the coffee alone! It's hands down my favorite coffee in the area. The staff is incredibly friendly and always make sure to have a chat with you when you walk in.
This place is a favourite for those in the know. Always consistently good. Tasty, well presented dishes that are deliciously scrumptious !! My family always enjoys going here.
