Rarely do I leave a review when I dine out but have on this occasion as I feel it needs to be at least reviewed by someone going for the first time and what to expect. We have no issues with paying for good service, good food with a lovely atmosphere. Sadly this day lacked all of the above. Over priced, small portions nothing special food wise. uninterested staff lacking any enthusiasm including the Management who sat on her phone most of the time but when we questioned why service took so long we were told they were busy? 6 cars in the car park and 1 hour 20 minutes for 4 meals to arrive. First and last time.e there Waited 20 minutes s for drinks..over an hour for one course...when it came..was it worth the wait??..er..no!! 3 lasagne with 2 tiny pieces of flatbread..about 10 chips and a bit of wilted salad..a small chiaba on a side plate..again 12 is chips...4 soft drinks and 1/2 shandy..93.00..YES YOU DID READ THAT CORRECT!!!! We had to order extra chips( 2 small portions of extra frozen..dry..chips 9.00!!! Manager couldn 't have cared less..never offered any incentive to return( not that I would anyway)..very defensive.to sum up WAYYYYY OVER PRICED AVERAGE FOOD LACKS ATMOSPHERE SLOWWWW SERVICE LACK OF DRINKS/ FOOD KNOWLEDGE THIS IS A PUB WITH RESTAURANT PRICES BASICLY FUR C...
Had a wonderful Sunday roast with the grandchildren, the portions were plentiful for both adults and children. We enjoyed the garden after our meal and the children could have spent hours on the park and playing field’s. Some DJ”s arrived shortly before we left and the atmosphere was building towards what looked like would be great night..it was a shame that we had to leave but our grandchildren we’re due their afternoon nap. Will definitely return!
Didn't eat as couldn't wait another 40 minutes to order. Great pub on a great spot but the service, although not unfriendly, is awful. If you like going somewhere to wait in a queue then this is your spot. This wasn't a one off, I swore I wouldn't go back after waiting for the same time last time. I want to have some drinks with friends when I come out, not sit for 30 minutes in a queue. As said this has been frequent. Won't be going back.

The staff at this restaurant were just okay, but they were not very accommodating with their menu. The prices were very expensive. My friend tried to order a side of scampi, but they refused even though it was listed on the menu. It was only around 6:30pm and they had already run out of some starters. Overall, the prices they charge are not justified by the quality of the experience.
I had never been to this pub before, but I discovered it to be a hidden gem. It's located in a lovely countryside setting and the food was amazing. Megan, our server, was very friendly and served us with a smile. I highly recommend the ciabattas, they were delicious and worth the price. I will definitely be returning and recommending this place to others.
Very poor quality of Sunday lunch . Bland veg and gravy . Overall not at all good Waitresses helpful and attentive but let down by standard of food. Will not be ever going again as much nicer places to dine. A shame a previously has been ok whether they now have new ‘chef’ but dreadful food.
Went today for Sunday lunch, 4 adults and 3 children , decent portions and very tasty. The pint of Enville I had was very good also. Staff were very friendly and polite, an easy 5 stars, many thanks

I received an absolutely lovely welcome during my first visit to this restaurant. The pub garden is stunning and suitable for all ages, particularly young families.
