Last night is the first time I 've been in for ages as I happened to be out at that time. Amy 's signed up to their digital news letter and said that she was entitled to a free fish supper with her next order. We went down and got two fish suppers and a medium sized bag of chips at a total cost of £8.50, and I can tell you it was the best fish and chips I 've had there for a long time. The batter was delicious, lovely and crispy and the chips were better than ever before. I just wanted to post credit where it 's due and say Well done Round O Chipper! Just positioned off one of the main shopping streets it has been there many years apparently and as this was our first visit to Arbroath we were attracted by the tidy and clean outside and inside .We ordered Haddock and chips and haggis and chips and they were freshly cooked ,the wait not bothering us as it does give a chance to see the behind the counter processes which confirmed the staff as being hygienic workers .They were efficent and helpful with comp tartare sauce with the fish .Both dishes were lovely and tasty and on this evidence would recommend it
I have been a customer of this chip shop since I was a child and it has always been excellent. However, my recent visit was extremely disappointing. The service was appalling - the staff member ignored my full order and took a long time to complete it. The quality of the food also did not meet my expectations. I will not be returning to this establishment, especially considering the fierce competition in Arbroath. Very disappointing experience overall.
This restaurant serves some of the best fries in the city. I used to go to another place for fries, but since it closed, I have been to this restaurant twice this week. They serve hot and crispy fries, as well as excellent pizza. The prices are also great. The staff is friendly and efficient. I highly recommend this place to locals and tourists.

Best fish and chips shop I ever been in uk.The place is well known for there fish and after visiting that I rate it 5 stars.The shop is clean and well presented.The food is awesome and staff is excellent.The parking can be found right opposite to the shop.All in all excellent fish and chip shop to visit.well recomended.
I visited this restaurant on a Wednesday after receiving a recommendation. I have to say, it was the best fish sauce I have had in a long time. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be returning in the future.
You won't be disappointed with the fish and chips at this restaurant in Arbroath. The interior is immaculate and they strive to provide great service. Definitely worth a visit!
