My wife and I used to frequent Akbar Restaurant for their lunch buffets before the pandemic. However, like many other Indian restaurants, they have halted lunch service and now open around 5 o'clock. Craving Indian cuisine and wanting to stay local, we came across good reviews for Royale, so we decided to give it a try. We were pleasantly surprised with our dining experience. We started with the cauliflower appetizer which was excellent. I ordered the lammrogan josh and my wife had the lamb corma, both of which were delicious with generous portions. For our meal, we ordered the Harabara kebab as an appetizer, lamb chop fish curry as our main dish, and gulab jamun for dessert. The food was delicious and portion sizes were perfect for sharing between two people. Our favorite dish was the fish curry, as the fish was tender and the curry was flavorful. The gulab jamun dessert was also tasty, although very sweet. The staff, especially Alice, was incredibly friendly and attentive. It was raining outside, and they even provided us with an extra towel to clean our stroller. Overall, we had a great dining experience at Royale and would definitely recommend it to others.
The food and service at this restaurant were excellent. We arrived very late at night, only 20 minutes before closing, but the servers were incredibly friendly and took great care of us. Even though the restaurant was already closed and the staff were ready to leave, they did not rush us at all. We had a wonderful experience and will definitely be returning. I highly recommend this place.
I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The Desi food was fantastic and the service was excellent, especially from Jimmy. The Goat Biryani and Fire Lamb Chops were incredible, as well as the famous goat keema naan and cheese chicken naan. I will definitely be returning to this place in the future.
