I rarely leave poor reviews, especially when it comes to restaurants but I feel the need to share my experience.The good: the atmosphere is awesome and everyone else’s food looked and tasted goodThe bad: our server acted like we were a huge inconvenience. At some points made faces while other people were talking or asking questions. We had a party of 11 at 7:30pm. We had a bunch of kids but even I have to admit they were better behaved than most times we go out.The worst: I rarely venture away from my usual routine of getting a nice tasty burger but my wife convinced me to try the grouper po’boy. This is it!! I cannot say enough good things about this place. First time ever going, party of 4 on a Friday, no wait. Shared dz oysters, super fresh and delicious. Had the surf and turf, grilled shrimp and grouper and a fried basket. Everything was cooked PERFECTLY!! The shrimp was tender, the grouper was delicious the steaks were tender and done just right. They must have an awesome kitchen crew to send out food this good. Hats off to the best seafood place in North Georgia. You gotta try it!
This was our first trip to the Salty Mule. I thoroughly enjoyed the food! My scallops were succulent, to say the least. The clams were perfect. I had the brussel sprouts and was not disappointed. The only remotely adverse thing I can say about any of the food that was on the table is... the cole slaw is served in a sauce cup. It needs to be more substantial than a sample. We will be returning.
the fried groupers and garnel were there. I am picky about coleslaw and wetar sauce. they have not disappointed. I forget the name of our server, but she was friendly, attentive and got our drinks and eating in time and hot. I heard they really have good sandwiches. there are other menu items that I also want to try so that I will be back.

the first time and what a fun. I don't know who gave this a “big fish” rating, but all we had was great. fresh flavors (blueberry margin, ananas salsa, strawberry swarm) and their musculosed herbs were really good. in any case happy that we stopped and can not wait to come back.
Stopped in here for lunch. It did not disappoint. Food was delicious and the prices aligned with the portions and quality of food. Our server was helpful and very pleasant. I’ll be back sometime in the near future.
So good. Collard greens are a litmus test (like Mac and cheese) to effort and quality of a restaurant. This place is legit. Way exceeded expectations.
We ate there yesterday and it was by far the best seafood we have ever eaten. Chicken and steak were awesome as well.
