We booked to go to The Ship for a family get together. From the time we arrived, we were looked after by the whole team and nothing was too much trouble. From giving us extra portions for starters, so we could split them more easily, to giving us a dash of wine we we joked that some cream had been spilt in an empty glass (which it hadn’t! , the service was exemplary. We were able to stay on our table the whole evening and at no point felt rushed. The food was also amazing, and excellent quality. We will definitely be returning and will rave about this place to anyone who will listen!
We made a reservation at The Ship to bring our family together. When we arrived, the entire team took great care of us and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. They even brought us extra appetizers to make sharing easier and recommended a great wine for us. The service was fantastic, with attention to detail like ensuring a clean glass for our dessert. We were able to linger at our table all night without feeling rushed. The food was delicious and of high quality. We will definitely return and highly recommend The Ship to anyone who will listen!
This restaurant and bar is fantastic, offering a unique experience close to city attractions such as the city wall and river. The service was wonderfully attentive and the meal was delicious. Even when we visited at night, the service remained top-notch. We highly recommend this spot.

The restaurant is conveniently located by the River Dee, offering a peaceful atmosphere and serving decent food. The waitress provided excellent service, going above and beyond to accommodate our needs.

This is the sister establishment to the excellent Gunnery Although there are similarities in the menu the food isn't as anywhere near as good.
