The Ship Inn - Table reservation

We stayed here on a Thursday night for a business trip, after a few nights staying in a Premier Inn. What a lovely change of scenery. On arrival, a warm welcome before been shown to my room. The setting is a classic, good Old English Country pub, with the exact atmosphere. The bar is a lovely, social place, which offers a great variety of beers, wines and spirits. The food is amazing, for starters I had the French onion soup, which was lovely with the cheesy Crouton. Yesssssssssss!!!! My friends and I celebrated a birthday at The Ship in West Stour with a large group of about 22 people. It was a big task for the kitchen to serve all of us with starters, mains, desserts, drinks and extras. The wait staff were welcoming, skilled, and quick. My meal was delicious, beginning with flavorful spare ribs, followed by lamb shank and sticky toffee pudding ... truly outstanding dishes. Kudos to Sarah and Nick for doing a fantastic job!

I had never been to this restaurant for lunch before, but I was impressed and will definitely be returning. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff were very attentive and friendly. I highly recommend dining here.

Beautiful food cooked by an amazing chef and his team I would highly recommend, we went on the off chance, but we shall be back very soon absolutely delicious

The lunch was fantastic. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating. The food was amazing with plenty of options on the menu and specials board.
