My husband and I stopped for breakfast while visiting the Berkshires. Both the food and service were exceptional. The breakfast burrito and lemon caper breakfast sandwich were delicious, as were the raspberry and chocolate pastries. I found the cozy vibe very inviting and the service friendly and efficient despite the busy morning rush. Chef Maggie not only cooked the egg on my sandwich perfectly, but also gave me information on sites to see in the area which made my time there even more special. I highly recommend The Southfield Store for its tasty breakfast sandwiches and great hospitality.
I absolutely love the staff and the delicious food here. It tends to get quite busy during the winter months, and there isn’t always enough seating, but it’s great to see how popular it is for a good reason! For those looking for vegetarian options, just ask about customizing your meal; they can accommodate your preferences.
I visited a while back and had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who is a really nice guy. The selection of beers is fantastic, the coffee is delicious, and the food was outstanding. I highly recommend trying the sweet potato saffron soup!
It pains me and my wife to concur with the scores. But over the years, the staff and the quality of breakfast have not been up to the standards of previous visits. Dinner or lunch has been good but not terrific.

The French toast with blueberries was absolutely delightful—definitely some of the best I’ve ever tasted. The coffee was fantastic as well, earning a solid 10/10!
Small out-of-the-way cafe with an excellent brunch menu: french toast, omelettes, and more. Also excellent pastries. Worth a trip!
Friendly staff made an out of towner like myself feel at home. Not to mention the absolutely delicious coffee!!
