I should have turned around and walked back to my car as soon as I walked through the front door.... the restaurant was empty, bar a group of men at the back having what looked like a family meal helping themselves to food from trays on a side table. Like a cheap buffet. The bar was empty and had no staff behind it at all. Of the two beer fridges, one was filled with random items like bulbs and cardboard boxes and the other had 4 bottles of bud and an empty ketchup bottle. I have been aware of this restaurant for some time, but due to its distance from my location, I had not yet visited. However, they kindly allowed me to use my Taste card on a Saturday night, which was not necessary but greatly appreciated (Nicki was very helpful). The restaurant was empty, which may be more reflective of the quiet nature of Garston village. Once we received our order, we were pleasantly surprised. The fresh poppadoms, variety of dips, authentic Indian curries, and side dishes were all delicious. Awful customer service attitude from staff with delivery service. I usually have great service, great food. But on this occasion I ordered on there website, it said it was due at 725 (40 minutes away which is standard) At 740, I rang them my order had not been put through. They apologized said it would be 20 minutes. 45 minutes later, I rang again. The lady went to the kitchen said it was would be 20 minutes. I rightly said is there any chance of compensation as it had been 2 hours since the original order. The delivery service at this restaurant is a complete joke. I placed an order for delivery at 7:15 pm and was initially told it would arrive in 30 minutes by 6:40 pm. However, by 8:00 pm I was informed that the driver was on his way and to give him 2 more minutes. By 8:30 pm, I was told the food would be sent out immediately, but it took another 15 minutes to arrive at 8:55 pm, and it was stone cold. This was the second time I experienced this same frustrating scenario. I definitely won't be using their delivery service again.

We have been to this restaurant several times and it is our favorite spot for family celebrations. The restaurant is very clean and the food is delicious. It is a true family-run establishment. The best part is that you can bring your own wine! We are planning to go there soon to celebrate a special birthday with my wife and kids. Really looking forward to it. Just a tip: avoid parking in the Lidl car park as you may get a ticket. Instead, park outside the Post office.
We ordered for delivery, to find we has missing items once are order arrived. We called to complain to say they would deliver the missing items. A hour passes and still no delivery so we call to be told they won't be delivering the missing items even though we paid for them. The manager then put the phone down on us. Disgusting we have been regular customers and won't be returning.
First impressions from the premises weren’t great. Perfectly clean but looked more cafe than restaurant. But the meal was absolutely superb. I had onion bhaajis, chicken tikka dhansak with vegetable pilau rice. As good as I’ve had anywhere and only £14.50. Cobra fiver a pint. Enthusiastically recommended.
The past three times we have ordered have been disappointing! Food missing off the order, food cold and has taken over one and half hours to deliver, regardless of time or day. This evening was the final straw. Sadly after five years as a regular customer I will not be returning

Great little restaurant hidden away. From the outside it doesn't look much, but the food was fantastic. Plenty of choices on the menu and everyone enjoyed their meal. Service was good and the food well priced. Definitely worth a visit.
We were made so welcome at Spice Brasserie. A lovely family run restaurant with delicious food at great prices. Highly recommend.
