we have always eaten in the ship inn on the way back from south wales because it was a beautiful, typical rustic English pub. the former owner mike and his manager and chef, jane, new her profession and exactly what her customers wanted to eat simple, very tasty English kitchen and comfort. it has been for three years and in this time it has changed the hands. This was my third visit to the restaurant on the ship, and unfortunately, I don't think I'll be returning. The combination of pork belly with black pudding and raspberries was not as amazing as I had hoped.
