We flew in late on July 4th and was staying at this hotel. I did not realize the attire for this restaurant was business casual so I apologize for showing up in athleisure wear lol. Thank you for still sitting us and serving us delicious food. Our server was informative and accommodating. After traveling all day, this was definitely a great welcome to St. Paul. We started with the hot and tangy shrimp. The shrimp was juicy and not over cooked, sauce was nice and sweet, could have a little more kick but delicious nonetheless. Save the bread and use it to dip in the remaining sauce! For the entree, my fiance and I split the Grill Tenderloin. This came with an delicious mushroom wild rice soup....

Yesterday evening, I dined at the Saint Paul Grill and had an enjoyable experience until a mouse was seen running under my table and a neighboring table on multiple occasions. When I brought this to the attention of the manager, he provided several explanations for the presence of mice, which were quite concerning. Given the high prices at this establishment, I was disheartened to witness such a blatant violation of cleanliness standards. While the server provided exceptional service, my dining experience was ultimately ruined. I am considering contacting the health department, as it seems that the restaurant is not taking adequate measures to address any potential infestation. The presence...

Amazing food in an incredibly beautiful place! My husband and I both had pike he ordered the sandwiches and I had the fish chips. Both were absolutely perfectly cooked, and my coleslaw and fries were fabulous. Our server Richard is a prince among servers funny, attentive, and extremely knowledgeable about the menu. He was simply a delight, and one of the restaurant's best assets. The architecture of the place was marvelous as well. Definitely worth searching out ask for Richard for your server!

Very overpriced for mediocre food what you’d expect for a captive audience at this landmark hotel in the middle of the country. All so worn out ‘fancy’ American hotel meal. The Caesar was more dressing than greens. The reduction on the pork chop had too much burnt taste. The slaw had no flavor. I ordered another different salad which was average. The cocktail was ok, difficult to screw up bourbon and ice. Book a table now

Saint Paul Grill has been the source of many happy meals and memories, so today’s failure may be a one-off. Arriving at a quiet time, two of us were promptly seated, then spent the next 10 minutes watching staff clear, clean, and prep nearby tables, while we sat without even a glass of water. Thus ignored, we proceeded across the Wabasha Bridge to Joseph’s Grill for excellent meals at much lower prices.

The place was nice, and the server was attentive. Food was pretty mediocre for the money we spent. Crab cake was good. Wedge salad underwhelming and plating lacked any kind of aesthetic appeal. Halibut was overcooked. Rigatoni pasta was also overcooked. Pasta had no bite to it, so it was basically overboiled. Will not be coming back here ever again.

We'd arrived in late from a flight and because the dining room closed at 8.30pm had little choice on where we would eat. The waitress was really good. The food I found was average. My parents thought it the worst food they've had on the trip. It was also pricey for what you get. A house white wine was $14. The bar looked well stocked with spirits.

We had just checked into the St Paul hotel and were hoping to get a bite to eat. We decided on the restaurant in the hotel and it was the PERFECT lunch. Berham was our server, and what a delight she was! Food was amazing! Thank you Book a table now

Brought my mom on mother's day. Server was odd, proudly proclaiming she was not a mother. Prices were over the top, extra charge on ever ticket for some employee equality scam plus valet. I won't return.
