it was cool to sit outside at stone soup on a warm Saturday night. it is on the main strip of ybor city, and they can get a lot of fun people / car watching time there. I chose the tofu French pommes Slav sandwich, which was pretty good. the tofu had good taste of a marinade, and it was perfectly complemented by the crispy fresh of the shiny. I really liked the kartoffel salad I had on the side. the service was a little dirty. our server was super nice, but he didn't seem to have great knowledge about their menu or beer offers. ordering drinks and foods was a bit more complicated than it should be, and it took longer than necessary to get our orders. all in all, a pretty good experience here...
I really want to like this place. It's fun to play uno. But the two times I have been there the food was just gross. The first time I got a burrito bowl. The portobello wasn't cooked at all. Just no flavor. The empanadas was almost empty and the soup was super bland too. This time we got hummus. It was fantastic. But the veggie panini was DISGUSTING. Nothing in it was cooked....raw mushrooms and raw veg cheese. Awful. The fries were good. Plus the server didn't understand the concept of vegan. He was nice tho.
Came back to Stone Soup after being away for the last 4 years and they did NOT disappoint. My friend and I have been stopping in almost once a week for the last month for lunch. We r greeted by the sweet Alex as our sever. She is wonderful, attentive and kind. She knows the menu and able to make almost any accommodations to our food. Their kitchen is consistent with food prep and it all has been delish! We r happy to be coming back here and trying everything on their menu. See u all next week!
they have selected a few vegan options here clearly, but none of them are so great. they do not know how to melt vegan cheese that makes it worse, so that the sandwich with the cheese still gets cold. the only thing half worth getting is the suppe and vegan empanada. also the service here is slow, even if the space is empty.

The bar manager Ryan was super nice and made us feel welcome. I ordered the soup flight and he was apologetic and accommodating when the kitchen informed him they were out of one of the soups I ordered. Great service, great food, great atmosphere. Thank you Ryan for a wonderful dining experience!
I have a veggie panini and it came without sauce. seemingly they had no vegan sandwich blends except sniffing. there were hardly any hits. the kartoffelsalat sucks. burgers are ok. the service was terrible. the pommes are great, but I would say where.
they have changed their menu something and now offer vegan cheese that makes it very easy to replace in each of the dishes. beautiful option in ybor.
This was my first visit. Tried the soup flight. 3 different soups. The lobster bisque was amazing. The Mac daddy was definitely my favorite.

Went for the soup, lobster bisque, just wasn't very good. But the service was great. I'll try something else next time.
The bartender was great and the French onion soup was delicious! Beef empanada was excellent!
