This was our first visit. The service was slow. I had to wave down the server to order my husband a second drink. The food took ages to come. After our order was placed, a couple came in and sat at the table beside us. They said they were in a hurry, placed their meals, and received them in fairly short order, well ahead of ours. When our food finally arrived, it was just tepid. The owners were there and asking for feedback as customers were leaving. We were sitting opposite them and so we watched the servers sranding talking to the owners, perhaps that's why we were ignored for the most part. When we left, we were not asked for feedback nor thanked for coming in. Not that I expected it, but I...

Very eccentric place. Old building, turned into a bar and restaurant. I've only been a couple times. Usually don't review until I've been a patron 3 or more times. However, it is a very cool spot. Worth the pop in, if you are hungry off the ferry and want to grab a bite relax and hangout for a second with some good food and atmosphere before carrying on. This little stone building amongst the Forrest is truly a magical little venue. Hope you enjoy.

This place seems 'tired '. It gives the impression of being neglected. Half-hearted exterior grounds maintenance and interior decor looks worn-out and patchwork. Food was okay but not as good as I remenber from past visits. Service was friendly and prompt.Vegetarian options: Veggie burger

Had our wedding rehearsal dinner here, the staff were amazing, friendly and very accommodating. The food has always been great, highly recommend the sambuca prawns. I look forward to any chance I get to go to the stone house pub. It is a gem of the island. Book a table now

This has potential to be one of the best pubs on the island. It will need a little loving first. The food was way better then I expected. The sambuca prawns are a must try! Looking forward to seing what the new owners are going to do to the place.

Ridiculously tasteless food. I ordered Ruben with sea food chowder and it was so bad that I could not take second bite, chowder was even worse. Look at both was a total torn off.Do not recommend this place!

It is a lovely restaurant that has a very old European ambiance to it. The staff were lovely, the food came quickly, and parking was available on the property. All in all, it was a good experience.
