I had the opportunity to visit this restaurant after purchasing a Groupon discount almost a year ago that was about to expire. The first thing I noticed was the extensive menu with plenty of choices at reasonable prices. I noticed a Black woman waiting for her order and asked her about the food. She assured me that I couldn't go wrong and listed many items she had tried. She mentioned that there are two types of women who buy takeout: those who can't cook and those who can cook, and the quality and taste of the food exceed their high expectations. I called in an order for the supreme platter because the reviews were good and for $31.99 it seemed like a good amount of food. The person working there was friendly but I was shocked when he said they raised the price a little bit to $45, which ended up being $49 with tax. There is no indication of this online and I would have never ordered it for that price! Everything was fried, greasy, and very salty. We only had a few bites before we couldn't take it anymore so we went out and gave it to a homeless person. Absolutely insane prices and the food isn't good at all. Don't let what happened to me happen to you also.
the first time hidden here. great eating, deep roasted. had a bang and stopped by. Great fish, garnel and hush puppy. the potato salad is great. below no cocktail sauce for garnel. on the side veteran rabatt, good eating, the young man gave me much more active sauce. hidden by options for youthful it worth finding it. so good.
The owners of this restaurant are very eager to please, but after my second visit, I still find the food too salty for my liking.
