"Neat place to catch happy hour. Two floors of seating area. Also has a billiard room to hang out. Thursday night is karaoke night. Very open space so it gets a bit loud."

The dining room upstairs was insanely busy, so we went downstairs to try the lounge instead. It's beautifully decorated, super quirky. The service however was super mediocre, bordering on bad. Waited for ever for everything, our waitress might have been new, but the management behind the bar didn't seem to be very helpful either considering how quiet it was downstairs. We were charged full price for all of our happy hour drinks. On a positive note, they had a great beer selection and the two **** Mary's I had were amazing. Thumbs up for drinks and ambience, huge thumbs down for service.

Wow I have to say, I'm surprised to see mixed reviews on this place. It was one of the best meals I've had in Nashville. Hot nuggets were awesome for appetizer. Grilled cheese was not your ordinary grilled cheese my friends. The best thing we had was the brussel sprout hash - oh my goodness it was incredible and so unique! Mixed drinks were top notch. Some people mentioned the service was slow - our service was excellent but we did go on a night without live music so potentially that could affect how busy the servers get.

The atmosphere of the Sutler was very nice minus the sound level of the band. If you want to be able to have dinner and a conversation, go before 9. I got the shrimp and grits which I enjoyed, but I may be a little biased because I would never say shrimp was bad. I would go back, but probably just for drinks.

Crappy place.  Less than average service with overpriced food.  Was embarrassing to take my customers from out of town.  Went across to ML Rose, which I found out later was owned  by the same company, with the same sub standard results
