Great Wetherspoons pub. Compact and friendly. Good value food and drink. Staff helpful and welcoming, we stayed further along the road at the Travelodge so this place was ideal for a night cap, then breakfast in the mornings. Spotlessly clean first thing in the morning! (Credit to your cleaner! Good place to visit. Good breakfasts too, enjoyed.
This is a large pub, a wide selection of ales, very well kept, fantastic affordable prices, the staff are all knowledgeable and well trained, the decor is fantastic, clean and old school. Worth a visit compared to some other less well maintained hostels.
Excellent quality food very tasty and very pleasant jacket potato with tuna and me ham egg and chips mmmmm chicken chips some of my friends rice and chicken fill also comes with a beer 4 me coke
Pub is very friendly with helpful staff. Has great breakfast and good lunchtime. Pub seems well organized and well stocked, but tends to fill a lot in the late afternoon in the early evening.
