The Talbot - Table reservation

I feel sad what happened in the talbot. it was a somewhat eccentric place with a great engagement for local food producers and a menu that had unusual dishes that were excellent, although sometimes somewhat expensive. and a beautiful atmosphere and a roaring log fire. after a flooding a bit reprocessed and then the pandemic has changed. no fire, the lighting somewhat harder, video screens in a pool room and a much more standard tab menu. eating is somehow ok, but some of them did not feel very cooked home and each dish seemed to have the same Limp side salad. to be fair, we saw a cheeseboard that looked good, not sure what's going on there, but it's not what it was earlier.

I selected this restaurant as it was conveniently located between my sister's house and mine, allowing us to walk our dogs, exchange Christmas gifts, and enjoy a meal together. The food was excellent and the service was friendly and attentive. The restaurant was very welcoming to dogs, making for a pleasant dining experience. I would highly recommend this place and plan to return next year for the same tradition.

Had a fantastic evening yesterday with family. Food was as always just lovely. Home made pies were such good quality, tasted amazing and the home cooked chips are superb. The beer is brewed in the Teme Valley Brewery on site and is well worth sampling. If you’re driving take some home! Definitely recommend a trip here.

Fantastic vege pie sat by a great fire. Pudding was in the form of sticky toffee and apple crumble and both didn’t disappoint. Lovely.

came to dinner with friends in the opposite well cooked pub food in a beautiful flow location. the service was also good.
