My partner and I was out looking for Christmas decorations and stumbled along this pretty tearoom. The overall rating I gave 5 because firstly what a great place to situate this place!.. It really does being life into the nursery, including the sweet selection of their own bits for sale from cups and plates to little chickens we bought. Not real chickens : The place was very very clean when we was there and the use of chinaware around the tearoom was also creative yet elegant. Regarding the food..... WOW. The ratings only go up to 5 however I wish there was a choice to select 10!! The food is absolutely fantastic, it 's all home made including the deserts which we actually had seconds becaus...

We were picking up our Christmas tree from Cranbrook Plants when we stumbled upon this charming tearoom next to the nursery. The tearoom has been transformed from last year into a nostalgic place with bone china cups, linen tablecloths, and an impressive tea selection featuring loose teas served with a tea strainer. The menu offers something for everyone, and I enjoyed a delicious roast dinner that tasted just like homemade, all for the reasonable price of £4.95. The rest of my group enjoyed a cheese scone with cream cheese and chutney and a steak pie with chips and vegetables, all of which were devoured with delight. This is simply a beautiful, traditional tea room that provides everything and more that one could expect. The choice of food and tea's is broad, including full lunches, the quality of which is simply outstanding. If only all tea rooms could come close to this wonderful one! The friendly service is excellent matched with great value for money. Make an effort to visit, as you won't be disappointed!

We initially visited the restaurant to purchase plants, but the tea room turned our shopping trip into a delightful outing. Although the tea room is small, the cakes were absolutely delicious and the service was exceptional. The staff were friendly, and I will definitely be returning in the future. Book a table now

The restaurant had beautiful surroundings and the staff were very friendly. The cream tea was amazing and we were informed that they could accommodate gluten-free options if ordered in advance.
