I was called by Tom George to let me know that they were not going to be serving brunch during the summer months, only dinner. The hostess was very nice and asked me to reschedule for dinner which I did. The hostess also offered my party a round of drinks for the inconvenience. So I arrived at the restaurant at 6 pm on Sunday as I scheduled to celebrate Father's Day with my family and the restaurant was closed. We were very surprised and disappointed. The restaurant did not call the next day and I decided I will not try to eat there again. So on Sunday I went to LA Chapter at the Ace Hotel where we had a lovely dinner which I knew I would because I have been there before.I do not know whos...

Shrimp appetizer was a disappointment. Pizza was soggy. Truffle fries were excellent. Service was great. Food was not. My husband and I enjoyed happy hour and brunch and I was excited to bring my daughter here for dinner. It was okay but lots of room for improvement.

This is a pleasant family style bar and restaurant in a nice setting on Balboa Island. We had a nice meal (short ribs were excellent). The service was very attentive but slow. Atmosphere is casual.

We sat in the garden and the flys were terrible. Food was average and so was the service. The server was very pleasant, just a little slow.

Service was slow. We were on the outdoor patio without lights. The wedge salad wasn’t as good as usual. The pulled pork sandwich was gods.

I stopped in for lunch on a weekday and sat at the bar It wasn't that busy, but it seemed like it took awhile to be waited on.
