Even though there was a reduced menu some of the food was still unavailable. There were 3 or 4 other clients in the pub max, so not really overly busy at all! After an hour and 15 mins and asking for the 3rd time we were spoken to rudely by the waitress from across the pub “our food is fresh and not cooked in a microwave”! We were annoyed and hungry with kids so asked to cancel our mains, and were then asked by the manager, “did you still want your starters!” There was no apology for the delay in the food, or an explanation as to why there was a delay. At that point we decided we would pay for drinks and leave. They didn’t charge us for drinks however couldn’t wait for us to leave and showed...
We made a reservation for Sunday lunch at 1:00 pm. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a friendly waitress/bar staff who guided us to our table for six using a one-way system. She took our drinks and food orders promptly, and our drinks arrived quickly. However, the starters took a while to arrive, and the main courses took even longer. Despite the delay, the main courses were enjoyable. One issue was that the manager served our main courses without wearing a mask or visor, which was concerning. Overall, the meal took about 2 hours from start to finish.

Under new management—lovely traditional pub with great selection of drinks. Nice interior but also with a cute enclosed back garden, complete with a friendly resident rabbit named Peter! Parking: Enter your registration number into the tablet at the bar. Price per person: £10–20 Service: 5

Rating based on my last visit a while back where the service was good but two pathetic troublemakers Stevie Goodrem (awful human being) and Dale Scott who acted like they owned the property (found out they didn't) acted immorally and ruined the atmosphere. Service: 4 Atmosphere: 1
Staff would not let me in on arrival as said they were full, but were happy to accept a group of 4 girls with no reservation immediately afterwards, clearly the landlord has an eye for the ladies or simply wanted a table with more custom on. Pub to avoid.
Despite this venues kitchen being closed and there not being all their advertised beers being available the atmosphere and the young lady running the venue made the visit memorable and left us wanting to return. Support this pub. Great potential.
THE WORST PLACE TO EAT. AWFUL SERVICE. BAD ATTITUDE AND OWNER HAS BAD ATTITUDE. Generally would not recommend at all. Had such an awful experience due to bad service and rude waiters.
