We were recommended to visit this restaurant by friends. Sadly and it grieves me, but we were very disappointed. We went in as the place opened at 1000hrs and ordered 3 Full English breakfasts. Now mindful that we were the only people in the restaurant,...all 3 meals came out on cold plates and to boot the food was cold too. I am not even convinced that it was all freshly cooked. What the chef was thinking, goodness knows. He must have been aware! The waiting staff were pleasant and to be fair our bill was reduced. Frankly, the situation should not have occurred! We always give a place a 2nd chance, but it will not be for a while.
I have never had a better dining experience than at this restaurant. The establishment is gorgeous and the staff member who greeted and served us was outstanding. I felt truly welcomed. The menu is extensive, with incredibly delicious dishes that are beautifully presented. I highly recommend this restaurant - though it may not be cheap, it is definitely worth it. They also offer a great selection of wines. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
This was our first time at The Opposite, so we didn't know of any great dog-friendly eateries. We stumbled upon The Doll and The Pickle and we were so glad we did. We had a delicious lunch at a very good price, with hot, fresh, and flavorful dishes. The staff were friendly and attentive to all customers, even welcoming dogs with water. The decor was fun and relaxing. We will definitely return if in the area again, and highly recommend a visit.
four of us went to dinner and were really impressed. spoilt for the choice on the menu we wanted one of all! the food that arrived (in generous portions) looked good and tasted delicious. the service was friendly and attentive, but we were not rushed. we will definitely be back in the opposite and would recommend.

What a cracking place to eat. Found this by accident when visiting Holmfirth. Lovely ambience friendly staff and good food cooked really well. The staff were top notch and the food came out piping hot. There's plenty of choice for vegetarians and carnivores alike. We...will definitely eat here again. Thank you.
that was our first time here, which meant to go for the old one. we were very impressed by the quirky decoration. the staff was very attentive and friendly. that was delicious. the menu is very kreatiw and imaginatiw and tasted just as well. we will. definitiw return.
We went out for dinner last Saturday and had a wonderful experience. The decor, including the beautiful wallpaper, was lovely. The food was perfect and the staff were knowledgeable and friendly. The atmosphere was also great, they really couldn't have asked for more.
To be honest, I can't remember what I had to eat, but it was very good. like the coffee. as well as the cozy place>as was the service. wait, I remember now, it was lamm it was ace. I remember that too. that I have a cup of chocolate for coming, which was also great.
