We went in after not going for years. We had the all you can eat Chinese we had approximately 12 dishes shared between two of us. The food was delicious, each dish was different with great flavours and felt quite authentic to English Chinese cuisine. Staff were a little shy but polite and attentive. We were not left waiting long for between each refill/course. The duck and pancakes were divine. Would also highly recommend the satay chicken, crispy beef and barbecue beef. I would say don't let the area or the front entrance put you off going in. The food is worth it.
Have been using the white horse for 13yrs The last few orders have got later and later and food not up to standard of what they used to serve. Tonight order at 5.50 and received at 8.15pm said the car had broken down and had to get food remade which was a blatant lie as it was cold. Rarely get discount which is on offer and certainly never get an apology. I am assuming they have changed hands. Very disappointed and will be looking for a new Chinese restaurant. Poor service and poor food and cold
As always the meals were perfect, our groups ages ranged from 12 years to 74 years and there was something for everyone, we were well looked after by the staff and nothing was too much trouble, I have eaten here and used the takeaway service on numerous occasions and have never found fault with any of it. Exceptionally highly rated.
First time going here. I was dubious when I arrived as in the dark it appears to be in the middle of nowhere, but received a friendly welcome. Staff were welcoming and so helpful and the food was amazing. Definitely returning soon and will encourage others. The food itself was flavoursome, not greasy and plentiful in it's quantity.

Eight of us celebrated our grandsons birthday here this evening. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The food is very tasty and freshly cooked, if you wanted more you only had to ask. They catered for the children's wants. It may not be the most swish place but oddly enough we went for the food. You would not be disappointed.
Excellent Chinese restaurant. Been coming here for 15 years . Always fabulous food, so tasty and plentiful. The staff are always so lovely and attentive. The wine list is also great and plenty of beers to choose from and soft drinks are great too. We absolutely love it and our friends love it too.
Staff where so lovely, friendly and helpful food was amazing so tasty and hot and fresh was my sister birthday and they brought her out a muffin with a candle and sung happy birthday would definitely come again and recommend all empty plates and bowls
The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food was outstanding, very tasty and fresh. Portions were just the right size meaning you can have several dishes of your choice. I would recommend this restaurant if you enjoy buffet type meals.
