I went for Sunday lunch and it was mediocre at best. In my opinion, paying £15 for a one-course average Sunday lunch is not the best value for money. I'm sure many people will enjoy it, but regrettably, I will be looking elsewhere. I may still stop in for a beer now and then, as the service was excellent. Food and drinks: Average Sunday lunch, £15 for 1 course. Service: 5. Location: 4.

while away for the week we visited here a couple of times with our spaniel, what a great couple running the place : really nice speak with them both, so laid back, it was so relaxing , very clean, the food smelt amazing , very busy in the garden, our spaniel was free to enjoy walking around meeting customers : definitely be back Rooms: 3 Service: 5 Location: 5

Yesterday, we visited the White Horse for dinner. It is a fantastic little pub with delicious food and drinks. Our group tried a variety of pies and burgers, and we all enjoyed our meals. I highly recommend the Mexican burger. It was also nice to see some local beers available on tap. Service was excellent and the location was perfect.

I went for lunch after a walk in the local area. A good selection of hand pulled ale and a good lunch menu. Worth a visit for any fan of Last of the summer wine, which was used often and above the pub is Norman Cleggs, and Howard and Pearls house. Book a table now

This pub is a charming local spot with clean rooms in the bed and breakfast section. The landlord is friendly and welcoming. The only downside is that they are not open during the day for lunch. Overall, it is a great place to visit.

Visited by car but couldn't sample the range of cask beers, but chatted with the very friendly landlord, and spent a quiet hour lounging listening to a chattering stream while sipping a non-alcoholic cider Service: 5 Location: 5
