I have actually eaten in the restaurant previous to this experience but that was before pandemic. Last night we ordered 3 dishes, buttermilk fried chicken, fish and chips, phillie cheesesteak Mac for a pickup. All 3 dishes were absolutely terrible. The fish and chicken were so dry and rubbery. It definitely seemed like they were both cooked days before and they reheated them for us. The breading was breaking off the chicken just by lifting it. What can I say about this place. First of all about food; not bad and not good if describe it in one word so-so, it means i am not satisfied. Second of all I ordered coffee waitress brought spoiled milk with large clumps in milk. Also I want to mention about her service, seemed like she was in a bad mood. She had a bad attitude when she took the order. Furthermore SHE wasn't polite, threw the straw on the table. I just want to say i will never go to this place again.
Very disappointed as we sat down to eat our friend asked our waitress with the septum piercing what beers they have and she flipped the menu over to point as he explained he is legally blind and cant read it. She replied she's can't shes very busy right now and walked away from the table! We believe her name was Jenny and wd should have walked out right there went somewhere else. Customer service was beyond rude and do not reccomend.
Went for dinner with my husband and it was busy (so that was already a good sign). Dinner was absolutely delicious. I had the philly cheese steak mac and cheese which was incredible. However im coming back for the apple pastry dessert!! (so so good)

The woman saw how long it was taking for the table to get clean and so she took our food orders so all we had to do was sit down and it was ready for us by the time the table was ready Service Dine in Meal type Brunch Price $29–48 Think.....
Went here for a late lunch with the wife. Ordered the Mash and Bangers with Fried Calamari and Shrimp to share. Food was good and price is very reasonable. Will definitely come back here again.
Lots of choices, food taste great. Large drink selection i live the pink lady.. Mac and cheese is a large portion it was delicious!!!
Love the Monk! They have all you need/want Good food, good drinks, live music a few nights a week.
