The Wooden Deli - Table reservation

I have been a customer at the Wooden Deli for a number of years and go on a regular basis. The staff are extremely friendly, laid back and aim to please customers. In my time coming to the deli I have got to know other customers who all enjoy the atmosphere and community spirit that this establishment provides. The food has always been nutricious, and very good value and in my experience always well prepared. The coffee IS SECOND TO NONE. This is evident in the amounts of folk who come to the deli for it. Excellent choice of food items and very reasonably priced. I opted for the Man O'War in the absence of available Cajun chicken. It was very spicy so if you like a bit of heat I'd definitely recommend it. Staff were really friendly and the service was fast considering it was the lunch rush. Lots of regulars from what I could tell.

I have used the Wooden Deli 2-4 days a week since our office moved to North Shields in May and have never been dissapointed with anything I've bought, awesome sarnies and very reasonably priced, nice and friendly staff who are always happy to accomodate my fussy needs

One word dreadful. Two words Run down. Toilets poor, hand drying facilities, one dirty old hand towel. Apart from that the coffee was lovely. Review photos are many years old and badly out of date.

I popped as I was working in the area an tried the double topped burger… absolutely amazing … best burger I’ve ever had!!!!!
