I 'm not sure what I can recall from Timber Salt as that special sauce. It literally feels like another American/Californian fair where everything tastes average (and great when you 're hungry). Decent selection of beer. And a above-average swanky atmosphere with lots of wood (well I guess they have Timber in the name). The food was 3-stars, but overall, the package is delivered in a believable way where it caters to business lunches and happy hour. And that 's exactly what I went there for. Not memorable in any way. 4-stars for allowing me to have my business meeting with a beer and burger.
The food here is as good as the cocktails, and staff are friendly! The vibe’s pretty good, but prices are higher across the board than I’d have hoped. We loved the arancini, the warm citrusy olives were also great. The jam used in the burger is terrific! We thought the squash in the gnocchi made that dish a bit too sweet though. We tried a G&T and a gin punch-style cocktail, both had great flavors.
T&S is a nice little restaurant along Redwood City's downtown. Had a nice dinner here, but the food and service was average. The staff are all very nice people though and we noticed lots of regulars. The outdoor seating was very lovely, with all of the succulents adorning the perimeter. The sun does shine through some spots, so don't sit outside unless you can shed some layers.

The food was very tasty. (In fact, be alerted that they season their steaks, so if you don't want the chef's-applied pepper and salt, you need to specify when ordering). The service was SUPERB ... gracious, present without overwhelming, friendly, caring, and attention to details.
Great find in downtown Redwood City! Small menu, but 2 items we had (salmon and gnocchi) were very good. Nice selection of cocktails, and less for other drinks. Overall solid 4 stars, would recommend and we'll come back for sure.
Great place a little more on the fancy side of things the food was great the brussle sprouts are to die for and the service and atmosphere of the restaurant was a friendly vibe overall it's a great place to eat at
Truly a wonderful dining experience. Cozy yet hip vibe, great service, impeccable cuisine and presentation, really good cocktails the value! 10/10 recommend
