We wanted to try something within walking distance of our movie theater and nothing too extravagant. My husband suggested Tin Lizard. We were shown upstairs to an almost empty room. Downstairs is the bar and tables, upstairs is a roof deck and a few tables. For some reason staff kept going out to the roof deck (presumably to smoke) and leaving the door open. With the air conditioning blasting and the opened door it was very cold upstairs. There were plenty of available tables downstairs, why we were seated upstairs boggles the mind. We really enjoyed Tin Lizard! The beer is excellent. The black IPA was delicious as was the North East IPA. We both had baby back ribs and they were so moist and flavorful that we didn't need any of the 5 barbecue sauces available on the table. They were the meatiest ribs we've ever had. My husband could't finish the full rack he ordered but was very happy to have them for lunch the next day. If you like barbecue and if you like craft beer, Tin Lizard is a match made in heaven.
Overall, we had a good experience at the restaurant. The food and beer were enjoyable. The only downside was that we were seated upstairs, where the noise level quickly escalated, making it difficult to have a conversation at our table.
We went to Tin Lizard for Father's Day with our 2 and 6 year old boys. The food was amazing, the beer was fantastic, and the atmosphere laid back and comfortable and totally fine for crazy kids. We'll definitely be going back.

We both ordered platters, one with very tender brisket and the other with pulled pork since they were out of chicken. Our server was decent. I would definitely consider returning to this restaurant.
I thought this place had very, very good beer and barbeque. Friendly and accommodating staff added a very good touch. Will go back, again and again
The microbreweries were excellent. Great sandwiches had hand carved turkey beef. Our waitress was awesome. Fun lunch with family!
Wasn't at all what I expected.. the food was cold, and not gd.. It just wasnt authentic barbecue..

The smoked meats are decent, but the sauces are awful. It's best to just stick to the beer.
I like Tin Lizard for an informal casual meal of pub food.
