My partner is a meat-eater, so we came to this restaurant for him. I am vegan, so I always ask the chef which dishes are suitable for me. Unfortunately, during our last visit, the chef seemed unsure about the ingredients in some of the dishes. In the past, I have been given incorrect information about which dishes are vegan, such as being told that macaroni and cheese was vegan when it actually contained milk. They did prepare a separate cauliflower dish for me without cheese, but there is a high risk of cross-contamination with non-vegan foods for other diners. While they always provide me with a clean separate plate, the overall setup of the restaurant is not very vegan-friendly.

I made an online reservation for a table for 3 but unexpectedly needed to add an extra person. I called in the morning and easily changed the booking to 4. We arrived early and were happy to wait in the bar area. Our table was ready before our scheduled time and we were seated promptly. I had a conversation with our waitress about our daughter, who doesn't eat much and was recommended a children's meal. Unfortunately, the restaurant policy did not allow sharing, which is understandable. The service was excellent and we were very happy with our experience. We will definitely be returning xx.
