Christmas dinner for 14 people. Camembert starter was nothing like a Camembert, was more like a suet pudding sitting in watery cheese. The carvery would of been ok but one person serving on his own was slow and food became lukewarm waiting. The puddings were a disaster apart from the cheesecake) brownies and Christmas pudding were so hard they were inedible and we were told we couldn’t change them. Didn’t expect a gourmet meal but for £58 pp, and it being Christmas Day it should of been better.
I went for lunch during the half term break. We made a last minute online booking and had no trouble getting a table. The staff greeted us warmly and seated us promptly, with no wait for our food. The ham and turkey dishes were delicious, especially the mashed and roasted potatoes and the macaroni cheese. We also enjoyed our desserts and will likely return in the future.
We have been going regularly usually for breakfast but sometimes for evening meal. The staff, Lee, Thersa, Jonathan and Lauren and Gavin the chef are the lovely staff who usually serve us. They are ALWAYS so pleasant and helpful. Cannot understand the previous lady negative...
This is the worst EVER place to eat. We where greated by a blonde haired lady standing behind a counter thing like she was about to conduct a religious service or something. ?? After entering our registration she escorted us past the redundant tables and... Book a table now
Had family gathering of 1 5 booked for 4pm on Saturday. We arrived at the Pub in good time, but the place was freezing cold, lukewarm and overcooked food was served onto cold plates, “famous” Yorkshire puddings were so hard and tough they were inedible....
We normally eat at Blackpool or Preston which have both gone completely down hill! A few weeks ago we tried Formby which was superb! So we decided to give Ainsdale a visit a bit Dubious with some of the reviews however what an experience soon...
I recently had lunch with my mom at this restaurant. The food was amazing, the chefs were friendly, and our server Steph was fantastic! She was helpful, funny, and made us laugh. The only downside was that the table was not very clean.
