We had lunch at this great little country inn yesterday; it was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. A good, appetising menu with plenty of choice, from light lunches to more substantial meals. I had the Thai Chicken curry and my husband had the beef and ale pie both were excellent. We sat at a table outside in the sun, with nice views of the countryside beyond. The Tomich Hotel is in a fantastic location for exploring stunning Glen Affric, with lots of walking and mountain bike trails, pony trekking, kayaking and more.
Popped out to the Tomich Hotel for lunch from Inverness. A friendly welcome, attentive service and excellent food (my wife particularly enjoyed her Thai Green Curry) made our meal very enjoyable. The hotel is in a lovely spot and is pretty sheltered so sitting out at the back was very pleasant. Tomich is a charming little village and the surrounding area is beautiful with much to see and do, you can even get there on the bus. Recommended.
here twice during our week holiday in tomich and another visit for an early evening drink in the large beer garden. very friendly service and good pub food with particularly delicious puddings. on Sunday, the other two had the roast special, which was not disappointed. tomich is a pretty village in a beautiful opposite of Scotland, worth a visit.
Lovely little hotel run by a helpful, nice family. Cosy room, spotlessly clean, lovely bathroom products. Was at the end of the season so food menu was a little limited but the fayre was good home cooking. Nearby activities: Perfectly located for Plodda falls, Dog falls and Glen Affric. Stopped in for an evening meal and thought the friendliness and hospitality was best in the area. We both had pan fried cajun chicken, jasmine rice, mango chutney and steamed fennel. It was superbly cooked and after being on the hills for the day it was perfect. Great find in a beautiful area.
