this uses to my favorite place for special occasions up to this last day of the day. the service was the worst thing I ever experienced in a restaurant in charleston and even a bit rude. it seemed like they were not trained to take up a party of six. at the beginning we had to play musical for our reservation, for which they were not prepared. when it was time to order traitors, they were out of everything that several people had to reorder after the order. at one point, one of the other crawler crawled out came over laughing at our table that it was placed from another Entree order. they then brought false appetizers on the table and turned around to give it to another table after it was pl...
my wife and I stopped here spontaneously after I cancelled at other expensive dinner plans. it was clean and small, but nice. we were not particularly hungry, so no appetizers or desserts. we got every cocktail (the hemingway daiquiri was the best) and a entree. my garnel and grits were good and a great part. my wife had the Mahi-Mahi. it was cooked to her love and tastefully. we thought the quality of the foods corresponded to the price. the server was able to recite it with too many specials.
the food was good what we have. ordered her seafood plated for 48$ and got a little lobster dick a few scallottes and a crab cake that literally was the size of a quarter! my man asked the waitress is really what the crooked cake or a piece that fell off, and she said yes, that is it. will never go back and everything was very expensive.
This place was not good. Very slow service (3.5 hours for a party of 6), multiple incorrect orders or things left off and food was hit or miss. Steak ordered medium came out like it had been deep fried and well done (skinny little steak for $40+ too), cold fish entrees.... it was just a really poor experience all the way around.

best meal in mount pleasant. service at the bar was top notch, super friendly, friendly, personable, and fun. The seafood plate was excellent, but nothing can beat the darkened thunfish. so fresh. brüssel sprouts that knock off their socks, and the best grotten in the city.
Excellent dinner tonight at Topsail. This was our first time there. I had the crab stuffed flounder, my husband the seafood platter. Everything was top notch. Service was fantastic as well. The lemon cream cake divine. Highly recommend.
Wow! The food and ambiance were excellent. I cannot recommend this place enough if you are in the area. We had the seafood platter and the special (Mahi mahi) which were both fantastic!
I did a lot of research on where to have dinner during my stay in Charleston and Mount Pleasant, and Topsail seemed like the perfect choice. The food was creative and delicious.

I met a local on the beach who claimed to work at the restaurant and recommended the crab-filled flounder. Unfortunately, I didn't find anything special about any of the dishes.
