I have wanted to stay at this hotel since I first saw it on the BBC TV show with Giles Monica. We were fortunate enough to get booked in for 3 days over Xmas 2023. We arrived on a very cold, wet and foggy evening so we didn't get chance to see the spectacular location views until the following day which was unbelievable to wake up to! Our stay was slightly different to normal in that we were given an itinerary for our 3 nights stay which for us was fantastic as it took away the need to worry about anything created a truly relaxing ambiance from the start! A fabulous location with stunning views. The food is good locally sourced, fresh, and tasty. The afternoon tea with scones was just perfect, with a rich, homemade jam. The whiskey lounge is a must for anyone, whether new to the delights of a wee dram or a coniseur. It is surrounded by beautiful mountains and ideal for walks. Alternatively you can walk though the trees around the hotel and along the Loch. Either choice is a delight.
Absolutely loved The Torridon. The accommodation was beautiful and the location is just magic. The best part about our stay were the staff we got to know. Craig and Isaac were so entertaining and great to chat to, fantastic service! And Eliza and Dom were so helpful and just lovely people to deal with. Not all the meals we had were great, but the team were amazing and I would go back for their service alone.

I came here for lunch with some colleagues during the work close to recently and had not expected to find a lot on the menu for vegans, but was very pleasantly surprised to see a series of vegan options marked. I went for the broken tofu and chips, which is absolutely delicious!
Absolutely fabulous. You will not find better and more helpful staff anywhere. They are all well dressed with no airs and graces. By far, the best 5 star hotel I have stayed in. Will definitely be back.
