My girlfriend and I visited Touch of Class last night. My girlfriend is from the Carribean and she wanted to try this restaurant. We went in and it's a nice cozy restaurant with strains of Bob Marley in the background. It had a nice vibe. We were shown to our table and provided menus. My girlfriend asked if they had oxtail, which you would generally expect but they did not and in fairness it was not on the menu. I ordered the scallops with coconut polenta of the menu, which sounded delicious. I was told that they didn't have any scallops. Touch if Class? More like touch of ass... April 1, 2022...every restaurant is packed. We can't get a seat anywhere due to a show at the paramount. Whiskey River, Rubens, Gleasons, Birdsall, Iron Vine...no seats available. I remember there is never anyone at touch of class so we go check it out and it was empty. Two other tables were occupied when we walked in. A women from the back of the restaurant came forward with a miserable look on her face and I said we'd like a table for two and she grunted and pointed to a table and left us with menus. had lunch with the family in touch of class and eating was very good (as usual), but the waitress had a kind of setting that said don't you people know i 'm too good to serve them? .if we didn't know that eating here is so good if we weren't planning to entertain our foreign cousins, we would have given the moment when they gave us the menu. she obviously didn't want to serve us. By the way, when my 91-year-old father asked for a tooth-pricker, she pointed out to the bar and grabbed him that it was what they need and my 91-year-old father had to gimpen to the bar to find what he needed to teach the waitress something to maniac.
If you are coming here make sure it’s with an old friend you want to catch up with or anyone who you love to spend a long time with as it seems that the chef takes time and care to prepare the food and IT IS WORTH THE WAIT. Portions are huge and the mac n cheese is bomb. We got the apple ton ribs and the jerk lamb and it was heaven. Drinks also were tasty!!! So happy we stepped in
