Butter Chicken Curry
Since doing my Indian food research for Home Economics assignment, I was soooo craving for Indian food. Of course i've tried it a dozen of times ago in Vietnam, but what I want is to taste a real and true Indian curry. So when passing by Westfield with my friends, we decided to try Touch of India. Cuz we chose to take away so the look cant be said that good or something. I chose Butter chicken curry with rice. The butter chicken tastes fine, but i think it is a little bit too sweet. However, rice not good, too dry. I can't judge the whole restaurant base on just one plate, so if I have another chance to go to Touch of India, i think i will decide to try another curry, in...
UPDATE 27/8/15: Once again food was awesome and delicious. Both chicken and beef were surprisingly more tender than previous times which meant their level of quality is improving. However the staff serving me gave me the look as she didn't want to be working there... I guess its from the stress on a busy Thursday night. Otherwise I never had any issues here and will return when I crave for awesome curry during my shopping at Garden City. I update it to 8/10 for Food Court food.
INITIAL REVIEW: Love this place, quite authentic with an extra punch of flavour. One of the best choices in the food court. Been here many times in the past & each time without any disappointments. I rate it 7/10
I'd say this place is average. Pretty expensive for what you get. I paid $17.50 for a plate with 1 meat and 1 vege curry with rice, plus a small raita, a papadum and a garlic naan.
I chose the Beef Vindaloo and Dahl curries.
Although the vindaloo was spicy, both curries were pretty bland and the dhal was too watery for my liking. The vindaloo lacked the tanginess I was looking for. The papdum was also pretty stale. The naan was alright though.
Overall, would I go back again? Probably not. Mind you I've got pretty high curry standards thanks to having grown up around this kind of food.
These guys are magnificent! I come here on almost a daily basis! They are always so friendly and when @they're not run off their feet they take the time to have a conversation with you. The food is ABSOLUTELY delicious. I can't pick a favourite dish because they're all great, although my children would say Butter Chicken. I Definitely recommend them. Also they do the tastiest cheesy naan I have ever had! ????

this touch of india franchise is my favorite and I order in the rule the goat curry with basmati rice and a garlauch naan. I am told there is no bark, lamb or goat curries, only several sorts of chicken curry the butter huh is a generous portion, but the taste is quite normal. the rice and naan are good. will return for the torf curry or beef vindaloo.
**** service. The lady on the front was so rude. I usually come there as I like Indian food but she was so ill mannered. Because of her I stop coming. She do rascism in black and white and make bloddy faces while serving. Food is tasty but management is poor
I usually have lunch at touch of India, my chicken tikka masala was very blend, I have had this dish here many times , today was the worst! Just tasted of cream and ginger, not happy!
My two daughters had butter chicken yesterday and vomited all night. Doctor said it was likely food poisoning from the chicken. Will never go there again, disgusting.

Naan it really sucks , I recon that's a haldirams naan n the curry was paneer masala even dats a **** neva gonna come back:(
