A group of six of us, on entering this weedy little man was extremely rude. Not only was he rude, and unwelcoming, he made it clear he didn't want our custom. We wanted to sit away from the door and he found it hard to give us a seat in the corner. Eventually he loudly pushed tables together. We joked how rude he was and I asked him who was the manager, he said he was. Couldn't believe the manager or an owner could behave so unwelcoming. We walked out and went to another restaurant where we spent nearly £200. His loss. Never experienced such treatment before. The annoying thing is we have eaten at this place before but never encountered this person before and friends visited us so we thought...
I booked this restaurant based on the seafood platter I had seen on previous reviews. From the outside this restaurant looks like a mediocre ice cream parlour! However, inside we were welcomed by friendly staff and there was a lovely atmosphere. The food tasted amazing! The fish was fresh and the service was fantastic. The waitresses were attentive without it being too much. A lovely evening! The seafood platter was stunning!
I enjoyed a wonderful early dinner before heading to the Cliffs Pavilion for a show. The restaurant has a great location with views of the estuary. The service was efficient and friendly, and the food was beautifully presented and delicious. The only downside was the background music, which was a bit tinny and unnecessary. Still, I would definitely consider coming back.
Spent a delicious meal for dinner on a Thursday evening. Wasn’t busy and waiters were extremely friendly and welcoming. The food was presented beautifully and the steak was good, especially the mushroom tomatoes sauce that came with it,,,,truly satisfying. Lots of street parking outside it which was a bonus. Toilets were nice and clean also.
