My self,my partner and a friend were here on Friday last for a get together and drinks. The management of this establishment is questionable to say the least! How can any decent manager or management team allow a member of their own staff to be lone working in such an environment? Whilst we were there a very inebriated man was harassing and intimidating the young woman working behind the bar.She had made her feelings clear to the guy and he still wasn't getting the message. I was pleasantly surprised by the amazing Indian street food at this restaurant! I thought the Royal Mile usually catered to inauthentic tourist cuisine, but I was proven wrong by the authentic flavors and quality of the dishes here.
Treacle offers a diverse menu with unique dishes, a cool atmosphere, and outstanding service. The restaurant has a chic and eccentric interior design with spacious seating. We visited three times and were impressed each time.
Happy to find a table here on a Sunday when elsewhere was packed. Pleasant laidback atmosphere and staff, fast service. Definitely coming back!
