I used to work at Treebeards in the past and the food is truly amazing. The sausage red beans and rice dish is a must-try. The homemade desserts are also fantastic, especially the red velvet cake. I have fond memories of my coworkers on my last day, they were great people and I miss them a lot. If you're ever in Houston, make sure to visit Treebeards, you won't be disappointed.
The overall food at this restaurant is fantastic, but the Shrimp etoufee stands out as particularly exceptional. The succulent shrimp, fresh crunchy onions, and celery atop perfectly cooked rice make for a heavenly dish. The fast service and lack of obligatory tipping on a screen at Treebeards in the tunnels makes it even better. Highly recommended.

I really like the red beans and rice here. The bread is always good and the slices of chocolate cake are great. This one is downtown so it gets a lot of people but they move the line threw really fast. It has seating inside the restaurant. They have a separate line for picking up orders you called in or made online. Book a table now

"I really love this place!! Amazing coffee, delicious food and great desserts pastries. They are open until 23:00, so it is a really good place for evening work or study. The only drawback that has happened in several visits is to prepare food for a long time."
