I stopped by for lunch this afternoon and noticed that the bartender had her young children, around 4 and 6 years old, in the bar behind the counter and in the kitchen. When someone mentioned the concern for their safety, she responded loudly and rudely. She even said, “If you have a problem with my kids, take it up with Trina because she lets them in the kitchen all the time.” Given this situation, I think I'll pass on having lunch at Romperoom. No thanks.
Went here with new cousin and her fiancé. We were supposed to meet a few people here but made here much later then expected due to having to take care of a bunch of stuff. It was pretty busy when we got here which would be expected on a Saturday night. The service was ok but a little slow and unorganized. I don’t know how bad I’d want to go back just because of how crowded it was people were standing basically right at our table.
This is a nice neighborhood bar, but the craft beers are extremely overpriced. Two pints of a basic IPA shouldn’t cost $25. Be prepared to bring a full wallet. As for parking, it's a bit tricky since it shares a lot with several other businesses.
It's a laid-back spot. They had $1 tacos, so naturally, I ordered 12 – 4 each of chicken, beef, and fish. The chicken and beef were decent, but the fish was incredible. A dash of hot sauce elevated them to another level! Book a table now
We had amazing tacos on special this Monday, along with delightful cocktails. I particularly loved the margaritas, and our bartender was exceptional!
Great place to catch a game. Came in from WI to watch the Lions Packer game. Crowd was cool, staff was awesome. Will be back.
Customers should be aware that smoking is not permitted on the patio, which some did not understand when we informed them.
