On my way back from a visit to Chantilly, I decided to grab my daily smoothie from Tropical Smoothie and was pleased to find a new location conveniently located on my route to Ashburn. The new spot is situated in the Brambleton area, and I quickly placed my order online before following the directions to the store. It’s clear that this is a brand-new location, as the small strip mall is still looking for more tenants. It's tucked behind a CVS and a recently constructed residential and commercial area. Fortunately a new location popped up in the Brambleton area and I quickly orderedonline and then followed directions to the location. Clearly a new location as the small strip mall was seeking new occupants.Behind a CVS and a new build location for houses and commercial. My drink was ready and they were fully staffed in a very cleanlocation with plenty of seating inside. Now I have this location to visit as I travel to the area once every week.
This place is shaping up nicely! Although they've just opened, it's in a fantastic and convenient location. I visit about once a week, and one of the owners (I think) took a moment to chat with me because he noticed my regular visits. He thanked me for being a loyal customer, and I truly appreciated that kind gesture. Welcome to the community! We look forward to seeing this establishment thrive!
An excellent new addition to our neighborhood! Last night, I tried the Avocado Grilled Cheese, and it was absolutely fantastic. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Tonight, I placed an online order, and it was ready in under 10 minutes. I got the Chipotle Chicken Club and the Jalapeño Corn, both of which were delightful as well. The service was once again outstanding!

To be honest, this place isn't worth a visit. The service is incredibly slow for no apparent reason. I waited over 25 minutes in the drive-thru just for one smoothie. Even at Starbucks, where the drive-thru lines are wrapped around the block, the service is never this slow. Do yourself a favor and save time by going to a different Tropical location.
This location is now the closest Tropical Smoothie to our home, and we're happy! Employees here are super friendly and happy to help, and food and smoothies always come out on point. My go to is Peanut Paradise with whey protein, and a buffalo chicken wrapwith sun chips if I want a meal. Another bonus, it has a drive thru! Love being a regular here.
Terrible service. My husband and I have been waiting for over an hour for our food, and we’re still waiting. Meanwhile, customers in the drive-thru are getting served in under 10 minutes. This is completely unacceptable. Unless you’re prepared to wait over an hour for a salad, I wouldn’t recommend coming here.
The staff was friendly, but I suspect this is typical for the entire chain. The smoothies here don't seem to be made from fresh fruit—they taste better when I make them myself at home with fresh ingredients using a basic blender.

After three visits, we've decided not to return due to the slow service. Today, we waited 22 minutes in the drive-thru for a single smoothie. There was no one in front of us, and only a few people inside. It's just not worth it.
