I was SUPER excited to review this place....but my food was lack luster. Before COVID the food was flavorful and delicious. This is my favorite place in the suitland area hands down but I was recently amazed at what I was sent. I spent like 20 something dollars on a salad which I always order at least one of(they’re usually amazing)... I literally got a bunch of onions, tomatoes, carrots and two scoops of shredded chicken..in a styrofoam box.. Everything about it was just wrong. I’m gonna call and see what happened but I don’t like the fact that I don’t know what I’m getting anymore.
I had a wonderful lunch experience at this restaurant. Their lunch specials are impressive, with prices ranging from $1 to $10 per person. The service was outstanding, receiving a perfect 5 out of 5 rating. The atmosphere was equally pleasant, also earning a 5 out of 5. I truly love this restaurant. Every item on the menu is fantastic. I suggest calling ahead to place your order and picking it up. My favorite dish is the oxtails, which are simply delicious. The Jerk Shrimp is also great, but be cautious—it's pretty spicy!
