YUM! I'm a huge fan of Thai food. I mean, I'm mildly obsessed with it. Most places serve by dish but what I love about Tuk Tuk is there lunch special. It came with an entree (I got pad see ew with chicken AND spring rolls and they were both *chef kiss* I will say the serving was small but that's to be expected for a lunch special as a slightly discounted price so I'm not mad it.The staff was really friendly and my food came out quick. The restaurant itself was a bit dark inside (hence why my pics are so dark but it's huge so it's big enough for larger parties. Online ordered 2 lunch combos on the website. Website REQUIRED selection of brown rice option for an additional $1.50 and an email gave a confirmation that the order would be ready in 30 minutes. Upon arrival at Tut Tut were informed that the order had not yet been received. Waited at Tut Tut for the order to be prepared. Checking the order showed only white rice in both combos although ticket showed brown rice for one and jasmine rice for the other. Advised staff about these problems and received no notable response. Food in lunch combos was largely the white rice with only smaller amounts of other ingredients. Overall, pricey for amount paid.
I usually don't write negative reviews, but I went straight to the manager and couldn't find one. The restaurant was incredibly dirty. The fried spring rolls were just greasy fried dough with hardly any veggies. The pumpkin curry lacked pumpkin and flavor, and had slimy carrots. The crab fried rice was also spoiled. The duck rice was basic but at least edible. The rice noodles had no taste. It might have been good in the past, but not anymore. Don't waste your time. Also, it was empty on a Friday night, which says it all.
Disgusting! I found a fly in my soup at this restaurant. The customer service was terrible and the food preparation was dirty and unhygienic. The manager only offered us a 30% discount, which was not enough to make up for the terrible experience. When we went back to address an incorrect charge, the owner was not apologetic and even seemed combative. They need to improve their customer service and cleanliness standards immediately. Serving a dish with a fly in it is unacceptable.

I was visiting Berkley for a day and came across this Thai restaurant. The food tastes so close to original Thai taste. We ordered noodles, pad se-ew, pad kee mao and tofu stir fried vegetable. They were delicious! Springrolls were crispy and not hard rock. The atmosphere and decor was simple which i dont mind as long as the foods taste great! I really recomend to check this place out. Its so under dog? the waiter was so helful to us and recommended tourists place. Thank you!
Tuk Tuk Thai Cafe is my go-to for quick, simple Thai food. I usually order Tuk Tuk Thai through Snackpass when I'm feeling a little lazy to cook, and it always hits the spot. I always order their Pad See Ew, and you can choose from a variety of proteins. The dish is always consistent everytime I order and is what you expect from a Pad See Ew. The portions are very large and I always have leftovers. If you're looking for quick, tasty Thai food, stop by Tuk Tuk Thai Cafe!
I think my favorite part of dining here was the cute tuk-tuk/rikshaw right by the entrance! I didn't get a picture of the curry puffs because we were so hungry, but I have to say those were probably the best curry puffs I've had! The pad khi mao with tofu was delicious as well and I'm really glad we made the spontaneous decision to go here just because they're open later than most spots!
The fried dishes were good, but unfortunately, the meat was overcooked and lacked freshness. The vegetables in the spring rolls were not fresh, and the noodles were overcooked and falling apart. The overall flavor profile was overwhelmingly sweet without any balance of spiciness, sourness, or bitterness. Overall, the food received a rating of 2 out of 5 stars.

the spicy pad thai was nice since they use thinner (but a bit uncooked) noodles and unique house sauce. crab rangoons thai iced tea were amazing fr….the beef could be a little less tough though but i’m not going to knock down a star as this can be easily fixed.(in my yelp review era)
Absolutely everything is great! Have been eating at Tuk Tuk Thai for a few years now and nothing has ever been disappointing. Everything is consistently great!
