Having worked in the hospitality industry for decades, both as a worker and a customer, I haven't experienced such high-quality service in a long time. The staff is always welcoming and attentive, often offering complimentary desserts or similar treats, which is a lovely gesture that I truly appreciate, even though I don't expect it. Dining here is always a delightful experience!
“HIGHLY RECOMMEND” I want to express that this is the best restaurant in New York. We are visiting from New Zealand to see our family, and we had very high expectations for the food. This restaurant surpassed all of them, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone. The staff and the food were exceptional—truly remarkable, especially for someone who loves food like I do.
This charming little restaurant, nestled in a strip mall, offers delightful and authentic Indian cuisine. The menu features a dedicated vegan section with around eight different dishes to choose from. The vegan bread option available is roti, not naan as mentioned in some other reviews, but it is truly delicious. My non-vegan friends also really enjoyed their meals.

We’ve needed an Indian Restaurant in Nyack for several years and Tulsi is excellent. I wanted to give 5 stars but couldn’t because it isn’t 100# vegan. But I like a place where my carnivorous friends can also find what they like. That way it becomes a great choice of where to eat for mixed company.
This place is a gem. The food was so excellent and the staff was so generous and kind. I got the rack of lamb and it was just delicious and so well seasoned. The samosas are made so perfect because they aren’t soaked in oil and had so much flavor!!
This gem is an excellent Indian restaurant. Best around. Not only the dishes are excellent, the service is at it's best. We strongly recommend. Congratulations on your very good water and good restaurant, we will see you again soon!
Excellent! I tried a take out lunch special and it was fantastic! The man who greeted me was very nice as well. Clean and food was great!
