I deducted a star due to the limited parking in the area. This restaurant is located behind Seton Hall University on Irvington Avenue, across from Blue Ocean Chinese, which I do not recommend. I've been visiting Tung Tin since the late 1990s when I was a student at SHU. I've seen health inspectors come into the kitchen for checks, which gives me confidence in their food practices and cleanliness. Tung Tin is my go-to for Chinese food — they are quick and the food is always fresh. I've never had a bad meal here, and the staff has always been friendly. As long as I'm craving Chinese food, this is the place I'll return to.
I’ve been working a lot lately, so I appreciate having some evenings off with my kids. The manager is very nice and welcoming, and the food is fantastic.
