Cheap, quick, and very authentic Vietnamese food! Don't let the look of the restaurant fool you! This shabby old restaurant is a staple for the Cabramatta locals (so I've been told). Best known for their 'broken rice' dishes, Tuong Lai is a small hidden gem just off the main strip. Be sure to get in early, and don't be alarmed if they squeeze other parties onto the table!
You know a hidden jewel when you see an insignificant F-Restaurant, which is hidden in a Laneway and spread with food safety risks, yet the queues in the regular drawing. Probably in the top 3 "Com Tam "aban in Sydney. Huge portions. Delicious. Under $ 10. They come in. You order. You eat. You leave. You do not ask questions.
The most authentic restaurants are often the ones that look meek and modest and Tuong Lai is no different.Excellent Com tam dac biet (combination broken rice) served generously at an economical price.There are a host of other restaurants that provide quality com tam but this one takes the cake for me. Highly recommended.

The size of the restaurant is very small and crowded so it is not suitable for wheelchair customer. At peak time you can wait for a while. Best dish is Broken rice/Com tam.
